Crossfader issue

Hey guys I’m new to DJing. I have the latest version of pro. My crossfader isn’t doing a gradual introduction of the new song. Did i hit something? Can someone please assist? Thanks

Go to Settings/Sound and make sure the crossfader settings are set to default

Thank you. I’m also hearing that the crossfader isn’t necessarily the best way to fade in songs. Is that right? Should i be using the volumes for the decks?

There are no “DJ rules”, just use the method that you prefer. I don’t like crossfaders so I only use the channel faders. Other DJs love the crossfader.
