my macbook pro is connected to an airport express for main output, when i use the crossfader and cross all the way over the song I’m coming out of lags in sound and does not transition smoothly and then cuts off when the cross fader is fully over instead of slowly lowering. any way to fix that?

Does this only happens, when you’re connecting your djay Pro with your airport express?
Or could it be possible that you activated the crossfader cutting mode ?
Here is how you select the crossfader mode:
open djay Pro
go to preferences
go to general
and on the bottom, in the mixer section you can select the crossfader mode.
