Hi @Slak_Jaw,
Yes, I can test with a modern Ipad… will let you know… but it will be nice to get an answer from your engineering team about the sample processes i uploaded, i have the feeling to works for nothing.
Sure they can find something in the first sample process i uploaded compared with the second one.
Something I don’t understand is how you said than my Mac is on the borderline considering your website doesn’t speak about hardware limitations and theoretically your software works over OSX 10.15 and i’m using 11.7.10 OSX version.
Will be more easy if you say than "NeuralMix is not working with external audio devices if the Mac Hardware is not over “xyz” model…
This will stop our frustration and the number of hours we spent trying to figure out what the problem can be.
Cheers
Jorge
Thanks for the additional info and feedback @jorgegalve. I will let you know as soon as I hear back from engineering regarding the Sample Processes you provided.
I was only speculating regarding your hardware performance, so I could be wrong. Again, let’s wait to hear back from engineering. Thanks again!
Hi again @jorgegalve, the engineering team said there was nothing obvious in the sample processes you provided. Also, regarding Neural Mix, we improved performance in djay 5.2.9 on Intel Macs with our new optimized models, so please confirm that you are using the latest 5.2.9 version of djay.
- It would still be helpful if you could try mixing with the RMX95 but without Neural Mix to see if you still reproduce the issue.
- Can you also please confirm if you are using Keylock or not? If you are, can you please try reproducing the issue with Keylock OFF?
- As suggested earlier, please also try using a different USB cable between the RMX95 and the Mac.
Thanks!
Hi @Slak_Jaw, Finally i was able to try it.
I bought a djtechtools USB cable and connect it to the laptop.
I tried turning off the features one by one.
Started playing without Neural Mix, when i choose that option, the software EQ wasn’t moving and looks like the mixer toke care of the HIGH/MID/LOW frequencies.same issue
Second try was with normal EQ and no SYNC, same result.
Last try was with normal EQ, no SYNC and no Keylock… same result.
Any idea?
I want to add than when the sound starts to be crunchy/distorted, this is going worst (also if you stops the play for few minutes) and in some time the sound remain completely damaged, you can only ear some distorted bass, not any of the other frecuencies
Thanks for the follow up @jorgegalve. Sorry to hear that didn’t solve your issue.
Please follow the procedure below:
- Quit djay.
- Make sure you have a backup of your djay Media Library.djayMediaLibrary file on an external drive or cloud service.
a. You can find the files above in the following location: https://help.algoriddim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014912211-Where-does-djay-Pro-store-playlists-cue-points-and-other-data-on-my-Mac
- If you have previously disabled iCloud for djay Pro in System settings, please make sure it is re-enabled for djay Pro.
- Open the app Terminal.app
- Run this command:
a. defaults write com.algoriddim.djay-iphone-free CMCResetCloudKitState -bool true
- Launch djay. This will reset the CloudKit and clear up any performance issues related to iCloud sync.
Please report back if this makes a difference or not. Thanks!
Hi @Slak_Jaw,
Just tried what you ask with the same results

Okay, thanks for confirming @jorgegalve. Let me pass this information onto engineering to see if they have any other suggestions. I’ll report back when I have news.
Hi @Slak_Jaw,
At the end i bought a Mac Mini M4 and it works like a charm..
Saying that, a macbook pro (late 2013) is not capable to handle properly the usb send/return signals of a reloop rmx-95 + 2×LC6000 and send the audio out throught..
Despite Algoriddim announces than the OS X version installed in my laptop works with Djay Pro, it has perform issues.
I would suggest to your company to be more clear about this, all issues i found on internet is related to intel hardware.

Hi @jorgegalve, thanks for the follow up and glad to hear that new hardware solved your issue. I will share you feedback with the team. Thanks again!
Hey @jorgegalve,
Thanks for sharing your experience. I am glad to hear your new setup with the Mac Mini M4 is working well!
I’m curious how you determined that your late-2013 MacBook Pro can’t handle the send/return signals from the Reloop RMX-95 + 2 × LC6000 properly. Do you think the bottleneck is purely the Intel processor(?), or could other factors (like the USB controller, OS tweaks, firmware versions, etc.) also be involved? I’m asking because I’m using an Intel-based MacBook myself and would love to learn from your experience.
You also mentioned finding similar reports online that point to Intel hardware as the culprit. How did you come to that conclusion? Any concrete examples or links would really help the community pinpoint what’s going on.
Last, but not least:
If MacBooks with Intel processors genuinely struggle with this setup, I fully agree that Algoriddim should be much more transparent about it—clear guidance up front would save a lot of trial-and-error (and frustration).
Looking forward to hearing what you’ve found!
