Djay for iPad.
There are certain songs where it doesn’t matter where I press the cue button to save the start cue, it never saves it in that place. It either saves it a few beats before or a few beats after, meaning the moment I press play - it doesn’t fire from where I’d hoped. I don’t think it’s anything to do with quantisation upon playback as I can see that the play head/cue point isn’t where I set it.
Hi @djandrewmarston, can you please capture a short screen recording of this and share it here? Please also share the full details of your setup. Thanks!
Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):

Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3):

Hardware Firmware Version:
Thank you. iPad Air 4th generation, version 18.6. Djay 5.4.2.
Pop a cue point in one the first vocal at 5.09
And it’ll get stuck at 5.08 and will always place it there.
A start cue at 4.02
Rewinds by a few frames to the start of the track
A 3.28 marker
Cues on a different beat at 3.29
Thanks for the screenshots @djandrewmarston. Do you experience the same issue if you set the temporary cue in Classic or Pro Mode instead of in Video Mode?
Also, do you experience this with Quantize turned OFF?
Thank you! Lifesaver. The quantise cue (granted - hidden in loops) was the cause.
