DDJ-1000-SRT External Mixer settings on iOS

I have been using my macbook to control my 1000-SRT for the last few months and it had been excellent so far. My curiosity got the best of me and I plugged in my iPhone to see if I could get it to work. I know that it is not supported as a controller for iOS, but does that mean that there is no default mapping, or is it purely that I will never be able to use it? I understand that the the 1000-SRT requires the use of an external mixer, but when I go to adjust those settings in the Audio Devices menu, the 1000-SRT does not show up as an option.

I would really like to transition to using an iPad instead of my computer for both the touchscreen capabilities and durability factor. Since I want to go down this route, Is the compatibility that will eventually get support, or should I cut my losses and sell, reinvesting in something like a FLX-10 or a Mixon 8 Pro. It seems like the amount of iOS comapatible hardware available for 4 channel mixing is pretty slim at the moment.

In order to work with iOS, devices need to be class compliant (work without requiring drivers). DDJ-1000SRT is NOT class compliant.

Hi @shmimel, as @PKtheDJ explained, this is a limitation of the hardware. Support cannot currently be added on iOS for non-class compliant hardware. If you want to use your iPad you will need to select a device from our support page for iOS.
