i donā€™t know how iā€™m the first to report this but the jogwheels finally have support!

I have a more dedicated controller for djay (Denon MC6000 mk2) so i donā€™t always use Djay with my 800 BUT Rekordbox crapped out on me mid gig (just background music) and I was shocked and delighted to see the jogwheels display show my BPM and needle point on DJay. It wasnā€™t as smooth as the native Pioneer animation but Iā€™ll take whatever I can get. The effects screen still just says Pioneer DJ and donā€™t know if you can add images or anything else to the jog screens.

I checked the Algoriddim hardware site and it still says screens arenā€™t supported. Can we please get an official release so we know whatā€™s support and whatā€™s not?

itā€™s really mind boggling they supported DDJ 1000ā€™s and decided to leave out DDJ 800ā€¦Djay! guys! you guys need to really work on your hardware supports, always stopping before finish lineā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦

Not new.
It has always shown BPM and needle ever since day 1. Just NoT the waveform, like in rekordbox. Thatā€™s what algoriddim meant ā€œNo screen supportā€

how long have you had your DDJ-800 for? when i first used it 2 years ago the jog screens only said pioneer DJ on them. I played a gig with Djay last year and I donā€™t remember seeing the screens working either. Iā€™m happy to be wrong though

Sold it off almost a year ago. It had always shown BPM on my mac - perhaps i wasnā€™t too keen earlier in 2020 when I first got, as i wasnā€™t a frequent djay user then. but throughout about 2022/2023 am sure the BPM always showed
