- Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen): iPad Pro 11-inch 2nd generation
- Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1): iPadOS 18.1.1
- Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2): 5.2.6
- Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro): DDJ–FLX10
Summary of the issue: I’m not able to change the pitch of any song with the controller either by using the shift button and Key Sync button like it would be for RecordBox or by holding down the Mix Point Link button like it is for Serato. Please fix.
How to reproduce the issue:
Play any song and try and adjust pitch with the tempo slider and the pitch does not change no matter which buttons are pressed.
Hi @dizzydj123 thanks for the details about your setup and the issue - this is very helpful! I have forwarded this to the engineering team to see if they can reproduce the issue and offer any suggestions. I’ll report back here when I have news. Thanks!

A couple of things to report. If I press the keylock on the iPad that turns it off, and then I can use the key sync button to turn it back on, but I can’t press it again, or even press shift with it to turn it on.
Finally I notice that randomly, if I’ve been using the controller for awhile the key lock functionality freezes and I’m not able to disable/enable it from the iPad either.
Thanks for the additional details @dizzydj123.
- Are you using the latest FLX10 firmware from the Pioneer website?
- Are you using the built-in MIDI mapping or a custom edit?
- How exactly are you connecting your iPad to the FLX10? Are you using the genuine Apple cable that came with your iPad?
- Is your iPad also connected to power and charging normally when connected to the FLX10?
Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
