Delayed Key and Waveform

today while loading a track, I noticed a delay before key and waveform populated in the top left, shown in the video below:

Thanks for reaching out about this, and sorry to hear about the delays you experienced with djay on iOS, as we could see in the video you kindly shared. Also, apologies for getting back to you only now.

Just to confirm, do you currently experience the same issue? Also, to confirm: have you tried if the issue persists after updating to the latest djay version for iOS (4.1.6)?

If the issue persists, so we can take a closer look, could you please tell us the following:

  1. What device are you currently using?
  2. Which iOS version is running on your device?
  3. Which djay version are you using? (please open the djay settings and scroll down to determine the version number.)
  4. Are you using any controller with djay?
  5. Please describe - step-by-step - how we can reproduce this issue.

  5. In the video you can see the iPad is tethered to my iPhone so I believe it has to do with the slow connection.
