Hi. When I upload two versions of the same track and set cue points in one of them, they get copied to the other version with a slight offset, but the timing stays the same. I’m using Bitport.
Hi @Polyura, thanks for the details and screenshots. This is, unfortunately, a known issue with some Beatport tracks. Our engineering team is aware of this. Beatport stores the mix name in a separate property from the track name. However, djay uses title ID for the track. So, if the name property and the song duration are the same, they will generate the same title ID, and will appear as the same track in My Collection.
Good catch @PKtheDJ. I’ll make sure to let our engineering team know. Perhaps there is some leeway in the exact duration then. I’ll see if I can get more specifics from engineering on this.
I also want to ask: when I set a loop on the top track, everything works fine—meaning I can go beyond the center mark. But the bottom track doesn’t work that way… I think it’s because the top track has a loop starting at the beginning of the track, while the bottom track’s loop starts at the 5th beat! Why is my loop shifting? I’m just using a bit jump…
