DJ Pro + Roadcaster Pro or AirLite MK II

Hey

Just I want to know, DJ Pro could work with RODEcaster Pro or any Broadcast consol like D&R Air Lite MK II?

The RodeCaster Pro has some midi features you could map. Audio outputs are assignable on the Mac.

Yup. Works. Depending on how you want to use it you might want to download the new beta firmware and Virtual Device Driver to access all 4 Djay outputs (I only tested two of them). You can midi map the pads and faders too.

Thanks for sharing @Mister_Tuur

Thats great, thank you so much, that a very helpful and comforting to know it. So, for example Virtual A routed to channel 1, and Virtual B routed to channel 2. Does faders have starting the decks? I mean, if you move the fader, deck start, right?

Nope. Midi messages from a (CC) fader are ‘incompatible’ with (note) on / off by default. Algo could accept / convert these of course, but it’s not unexpected that it doesn’t work.

You can map the pads though. Or do something fancy with another app to convert fader midi messages to notes. FWIW, I am planning on doing that, but I don’t know when yet and also I’m using a fairly expensive midi tool for that (Bome midi translator - since I already own it).

If channel buttons are mappable that would be fine to me!

I understand, but I’m pretty sure they are not. I’ll double check one of these days, but somehow this is stored in my brain as one for the wishlist.

Really thanks! For radio djing RadioLogic DJ is a great app!

Haven’t tried this myself yet, but apparently they can be used too!
