Djay 2 and Spotify won't establish a secure connection to the server

I have Djay 2 for ipad and want to use spotify but the spotify log in page on safari “cant establish a secure connection to the server”. I can access spotify from the Spotify app though and from other DJ apps but not this one. any suggestions ?

I have since tried using the log in link https://www.spotify.com/auth/2/xxxxxxxx and this tries to connect my spotify account to authorise it to talk to Djay2. However, safari can’t access the specified address because MacOSX does not recognise internet addresses starting with “djay-ipad-2:”

Any suggestions ?
