It happens, theres no perfect update with any software, thats why companies put out a beta version of their software for users to report bugs back before they release the final version.
I suspect the fast release of 5.2.8 is because of the brand new Hercules Controller that was recently released at Namm 2025, there was no reason for DJay users to update to 5.2.8,
I am still running on 5.2.6, for me its a much more stable version to date of DJay Pro. I’ve had no issues with 5.2.6,
Always wait and read the issues on the Algoridem forums before deciding to update, this will save you a lot of stress and headache.
