Djay Pro doesn’t have Thru Mode and can’t be used for regular vinyl. It’s something many users have asked for but doesn’t seem to be taken seriously by the Dev teams. It would be a game changer and get a lot of users to switch from the competition which has this feature.

Is this still the case. I’m using Phase (WIR) and if I switch to phono on mixer, all is fine. But the recording doesn’t appear to pick up the phono signal from the mixer - so is just silent.
I’m wanting to record vinyl + digital sets. Would be a shame if this wasn’t possible in Djay Pro.
Edit: Just spotted Thru mode was added in 5.3 📣 ANNOUNCEMENT: djay version 5.3 for macOS/iOS/Android and djay version 5.3.2752.0 for Windows. So with Phase would I need to enable DVS and then switch to Thro mode to be able to record?
That’s exactly what I needed to do. Even meant that the levels were decent (I generally have to bump the phono level) and I get access to the effects on Vinyl!
