Djay not syncing after a MIDI-Activated Backspin

I’ve recorded this video about this issue.

Hi, noticed an issue in DJay where the sync feature does not stay active after triggering a backspin from the MIDI menu. Interestingly, when performing a manual backspin, the sync feature reactivates as expected.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Assign the backspin to a MIDI control.
  2. Activate the backspin using the MIDI control.
  3. Observe that the sync is no longer active.
  4. Perform a manual backspin and observe that sync picks up again.

This inconsistency disrupts seamless transitions during live performances. Could this behavior be reviewed for consistency between MIDI-activated and manual backspins?

Good catch @DJ_Big_Blender! I tested this myself and can confirm what you’ve observed. I suspect the reason for this is because the Backspin FX is not directly related to a manual backspin. However, I will pass this onto the engineering team to see if this behavior can be adjusted in an upcoming release. Thanks again!
