Djay on iPad with RX-3 audio interface connection

I’ve set up my iPad with a midi mapping for the RX3. In midi mode on the RX3 I can control DJAY software.

However, DJAY doesnt see the RX3 as an audio interface.

Just wondering if I am doing something wrong here or if this not possible?

Seems weird to be able to create a midi mapping but not connect to the RX3 for audio.

i am considering buying an RX3 for use with Djay Pro on an iPadPro.
You say the RX3 is midimap-able with an ipad?
have you tried a 4-channel external usb-audiointerface?
