A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

  • Djay pro doesn’t recognize Phase Essential in HID mode. It works fine in Virtual DJ and Serato (no action required), and when I connect the Phase Essential to the USB port, no message appears at all, and there’s no “WIR” mode where internal, relative, etc. are listed (I have to activate DVS mode to be able to choose relative, absolute, or internal modes). I’ve tried changing USB ports, but it doesn’t help. Djay PRO completely ignores my connection to the Phase Essential. I tried running DJay Pro with administrator privileges but nothing helps. I have ASIO Numark Scratch selected as my audio device (that’s my mixer I use in internal mode). I tried switching to external mode, but it doesn’t change anything regarding phase.
