- Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen): iPad Pro m4
- Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1): iPadOS 18.1.1
- Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2): 5.2.7
- Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro):
After analyzing “Recently Added” song list from iTunes Library, all the songs display they of C. Re-analyzing the song does not correct the error. Apparently, there is no way to manually enter the correct key.
Hi @manueldelatorre, please try the following.
- Log out of Apple Music Streaming from within djay and any Apple Music Apps or browsers.
- Close djay and follow the procedure below to perform a Forced Restart of your iPad: Force restart iPad - Apple Support
- After rebooting, launch djay and log back into your Apple Music Streaming account.
I hope that helps!

Thanks. This seems to have fixed the issue for newly analyzed songs. However, re-analyzing the songs assigned the C key signature does not overwrite the wrong key. Is there any way to change the assigned key?
Thanks
You’re welcome @manueldelatorre. Please try the following:
- Select the Check Mark near the top right of the Library, then
- Select the songs you want to re-analyze by checking the Circles to the left of each song, then
- Select the dropdown arrow next to Actions, and
- Finally select the Analyze Songs.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I had already tried that method multiple times with no results. I ended up uninstalling the app in order to re-analyze the songs. In the future, it would be extremely helpful being able to edit the key signature manually.

Odd that the re-analysis process above didn’t work for you. Glad to hear you got it sorted out though. Thanks for the update and suggestion.

I got it somewhat sorted out because the solution was far from ideal, and I only resorted to it because I had just started analyzing songs. Looking forward to being able to fix wrong key signatures manually!
