DJAY PRO not outputting sufficient volume compared to REKORDBOX?

Greetings,
I’m back to using Djay Pro again after a brief break.
I have two questions…

  1. When testing out with a recently upgraded sound system, I was shocked at how less loud the output was (using a Flx10) compared to Rekordbox. Obviously with all settings equal. What am I missing?

  1. I had some problems with my Apple Music library in the past and many songs are now unlinked. I had deleted some tracks, but the ones I see listed as Missing are still in my collection. I know this because I can drag and drop from the Apple Music folder in the tree view onto a deck. But if I search for it in my collection, nada. When I try to relink, it takes a long time (I’m on a MacBook Pro with a Max2 cpu). I think it’s maybe trying to scan for all the songs in the Missing list? There is no way that I can see to point it to the right place (like in RB)?

  1. Is there a way to turn off the cross fader on the Flx10? I have it on Through…but there is something in the software that needs changing?

Many thanks!
Antonio

Hi @djantona, your Sound settings look correct for maximum volume output (Audio Limiter->Off and Output headroom->none). Please confirm that your main volume output in djay is also set to maximum when connected to your FLX10.

Finally, can you please share a screenshot of your djay Settings->Sound when your FLX10 is connected?

Please create a separate topic for this so we can keep the conversation focused.

Since your hardware has physical controls for the Crossfader, there should be nothing else you need to do within the djay software after setting it to Thru on the hardware.

Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
