When I have a song playing, out of Spotify or My HDD, and I begin to search, again on Spotify or the HDD, when I type the first letter of my search it buffers the search and then is no longer typing in the search bar. This causes me to hit the space bar and stop a song mid play.
I have just upgraded the Ram in my MBP from 8GB to 16GB and this didn’t help the situation at all. I’m starting to think that I need to swap for a SSD for better performance.
Here is my MBP Set Up:
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012)
2.9 GHz Intel Core i7
500GB SATA HDD w/285.91GB Available
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Ram (2 x 8GB)
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536MB
Now when I search I have to make sure that I type very slowly one letter at a time to make sure that it’s not going to unselect the search bar. If it unselects the search bar after the first letter and I reselect it then I can keep searching normally.
