Djay Pro randomly shuts down / quits on ipad 9th gen

  • Version of djay: 5.1.2
  • Hardware/controllers used: Used on iPad alone / with multiple different controllers

Summary of the issue:
Djay Pro suddenly quits. No warning or signs of any issue. No specific time frame, sometimes 15mins in other times an hour in, but sooner or later it will just quit.

How to reproduce the issue:

Just use the application. Not doing anything special really. Maybe using stems every now & then. Otherwise I have no way to reproduce the problem. It happens randomly. iPad is not hot at all.

So that I can better assist you could you please send us your djay user ID by following the steps below? This will give us the opportunity to see if your device shared any crash logs with us.

  1. Open the djay for iOS app.
  2. In the top middle portion of your screen tap on the djay dashboard icon.
  3. In the lower right corner of the drop-down menu tap on the gear icon which will open djay’s settings menu.
  4. Scroll down and tap on “Contact Support.”
  5. The default iOS Mail app will pop up in which you will title your pre-written email “ATTN: NATHANIEL - Djay Pro randomly shuts down / quits on ipad 9th gen” in the blank subject line.

From there we will receive your ID and be able to provide you with further assistance.
