I guess we all agree that this 3$app on android is not directed towards professional dj’s but rather for fun use of music lovers like me.
Here’s how I mix currently: basically I define a loop at the beginning of the new track, synched with the current track. I fade to have the new loop and the current track playing simultaneously for a moment, the fade totally to the new track and finally cancel the loop. Most of the time I use the match feature to select the next tune (I usually don’t even know the tune).
So here are the two use cases I have to pre listen on headphone while the mix is going to Bluetooth.
- listen to the new track to verify if I like it.
- listen to the loop to see f it fits nicely or if I have to move it…
