Your question:
Hoping to get some help from anyone in the community. I was someone who tried Mix Master G’s DJCUS tool. As I mentioned in a previous thread it didn’t work, and he refunded me my $$, but I’m having a cue point issue. According to the always helpful team here at Djay pro, they said I’m the only one having the issue. Go figure. I deleted the app, but I’m not sure I uninstalled it properly. I’m clearly not a software engineer, but was wondering if the DJCUS tool could have installed a code into Djay pro that’s affecting my ability to write cue points on intro/rado edit versions of songs. Basically if I make an edit to a cue point in an intro edit, it will sometimes (not always) change the cue point on the radio version or clean version of the track etc. This happens in beatsource folders and songs that have been hard downloaded to the device. I’m someone who likes to keep multiple versions of songs in the same folder in case I want to drop on the one or whatever. I don’t mean to make a duplicate post but I’m wondering if it had something to do with third party app installed and am wondering if there’s some way I can check that. If I’m the only one this is happening to, and I’m the only one who’s tried the DJCUS tool, there could some relationship perhaps? Or maybe none at at all, I don’t know anything about coding etc. Other than that I love the software and am hoping it is something that I did that can be fixed.
There’s one more strange thing that happened and maybe this gives someone an idea. When I got my new device about a month ago, it came w/sequoia 15.0, even though I time machine backed up from Sonoma. I panicked except Serato (which I was switching from) was supported and djay pro was running perfectly. HOWEVER, once I updated to 15.1.1 (I think) I noticed my Serato library basically duplicated, and every song in my Serato folders were “corrupt.” If was going to stay w/serato, I would need to recreate those folders. I didn’t lose any music, but somehow those songs duplicated. I’m wondering if it could have come with my updating to Apple Music? Djay pro handled the update no problem and my library within djay pro has remain unchanged.
IMO I either have an iTunes problem or possibly an issue with the DJCUS tool. Sorry this was long.
