Your question:

Hello.
Is the DJM900 NXS2 compatible with DJPro(533)
I installed the driver from pioneer website. In DJPro it is not possible to choose the mixer in external settings.
MacBook Pro MacOS sequoia!

Hi @TTFresh, welcome to the Community! Yes, this hardware is supported on macOS:

  1. With the mixer connected directly via USB cable to your Mac, can you please share a screenshot of your djay Settings>Devices?
  2. While on this screen, please try selecting the drop down menu near the bottom left and pressing Reset to Defaults.

This makes no difference

Good morning. I try that but no change.
The driver is installed and I updated the DJPro app before there was an error message from the driver but now it doesn’t appear.

Hi @TTFresh, thanks for the screenshots. What is this “Keine” audio device you are selecting? You should see something like Pioneer DJ DJM-900 as an option.

“Keine” means nothing to choose from. No device available. The driver is installed. It is the latest driver version from pioneer’s website.
The DJm900 should appear there. But don’t appear.:face_with_monocle::headphone:

Thanks for confirming @TTFresh. This means there is a likely a connection issue between your Mac and the mixer.

  1. Are you also using CDJs with this setup?
  2. How exactly are you connecting your Mac to the Mixer? Are you using any adapters or USB hubs?
  3. If you are using any hubs or adapters, I recommend you try connecting directly via a single USB cable instead.
  4. If that doesn’t work, please try a different, high quality USB cable (ideally with dual ferrites).
  5. I would also try using a different USB socket on your Mac.

Hello. I have a good cable in use. If I connect the MacBook to the CDJ3000 I can output externally via the DJM900 if I connect the CDJ2000 as well. When I connect the DJM, both players work correctly, but the sound does not come out but is played on the MacBook. Strange.

Thanks for the additional info @TTFresh. Please refer to this setup FAQ and let me know if this helps at all.
