Does anyone have any experience with the DJTT Chroma USB drive and One Library? Having tried all ways One Library has become my preferred method to get files onto my iPad but my current standard drives get very sluggish when I try to move any large volume of tracks. I’m currently using an HP USB 3.2 drive connected to the high speed port on my MacBook neo and transfer of 1200 tracks took approx 30 mins. The chroma is very well rated and received in reviews but nearly always in regard to other softwares and set ups. Any advice or knowledge will be gratefully accepted.
or Sandisk Extreme Pro. I have and is very good.
Thanks. I’ve been looking around at alternatives such as sandisk as well but the problem is if you search Sandisk Extreme Pro you are confronted with about 250 options which I freely admit, I’m not savvy enough to sort through. I am drawn to the Chroma by the simplicity of the choice.
This one is the one you’ll need
Hi @daniel_curley, I’ve used the DJTT Chroma Drive with OneLibrary and it works great.
Ooooff. Maybe a bit too Extreme for me. Shame they don’t do a smaller capacity. I’m focused on keeping my library trimmed and manageable these days and don’t need all those gigs
Awesome. Thanks @Slak_Jaw.
No problem @daniel_curley
When it comes to USB drives, my gold standard is the Samsung T5/7 SSD line or a Thunderbolt SSD. The entire 2TB content of my T7 transfers over a regular thunderbolt 3 port on my mac in just about that 30minutes or less!
I also recently tried a cheap Sandisk SSD and it was also pretty good (I loved the build quality)
Top tips. Much appreciated.
