Does Akai AMX works with DVS?

hi everyone, ive used the search function for this, and cant find what i wanna know

does the akai amx with its rca input works with DJay DVS on macOS ?

im thinking of picking up one, thank you

There’s a DJay hardware list on this site where you can see if it’s included or not. Iirc it’s not class compliant so possibly it’s not included.

I bought one a couple of years back and being really honest they are pretty terrible. The sound quality is atrocious.

You can use the amx for dvs although you’ll have to make your own mapping for it.

I’ve been taking it out more since djay introduced the audio thru feature. I used mine last month for corporate Christmas functions.

You’ll wanna upgrade the xfader though.

Hi there,

Akai AMX demo here :

I have a custom mapping and a mini innofader pro inside.

I use it with iOS but it should work fine on MAC.

Yes! It’s not as ready to go as an officially supported mixer but it works…

Love my Akai AMX. There’s a decent mapping for it on DJ Tech tools. I think I made a comment on it just last year with a couple bug fixes. DJ TechTools - AKAI AMX - DJ.MG Official Mapping for Djay Pro (by Jay Neural) - NOW WITH VU-METERS !
