I have an iPhone 5 and wondered if ipad mini works with the djay app in the same way - features etc. thanks

The iPad version is a bit different from the iPhone version. By the way, you could download “djay LE for iPad” to test it a bit.
Please note though that the LE version has a few limitations compared to the full version.
