Does djay2 need an internet connection just for spotify autorisation?

(Sorry for my bad english)

I only have a wi-fi ipad. When I use tethering with my iphone, does djay2 need the connection just for autorisation or will it use traffic to load the songs?

I have created offline playlists with the spotify app. Does djay2 take those offline songs or will it “re-load” the tracks?

My skills in explaining this in english are limited, so I hope you understand my question.

Hi hotdogreen,

djay needs a steady internet connection to stream the songs.

Offline created playlists are not supported by the app due to a Spotify security feature called “Sandboxing”.

I hope you understand.
