I love soft close cabinets found in kitchens these days. You can close something as fast as you want without slamming shut. It would be amazing to have this feature when resetting or double tapping knobs and faders.
For example, in djay resetting the tempo fader immediately sets the value to 0%. In VirtualDJ, the fader slowly crawls back to 0% at a rate of 1% per second. This style of automation is super useful with extreme tempo changes. I could also see this useful for knobs as well, but at a much faster rate. There’s also a neat feature during the tempo change: single tap pauses the tempo change or double tap hard resets to 0%.
