Rekordbox has a neat feature where you can adjust/reset the downbeat from the current position.
Some tracks lose their way, especially tracks that don’t strictly follow 4/4 timing, and the downbeat as presented in djay isn’t necessarily the best mix point.
Currently, if you reset the downbeat, it does it for the whole track. This suggestion is only from the current position forwards.
As @SamJam stated, you can set a new Downbeat where ever you like in the track.
However, from you description, it sounds like what you’re looking for is Anchor Points. These are use for song with varying/dynamic beatgrids. Setting Anchor Points allows you to manually correct these if the Fluid Beatgrid system doesn’t automatically get it right.
I understand i can adjust the new downbeat as per this post but I would love to know how do I set up the settings properly so it recognises the downbeat correctly, please?
