So if I understand correctly, a file could have multiple entries in the Djay database? From my point of view: The combination of a path, filename and extension is unique on all filesystems I know of. Then for each file there should also be a single entry in the database. If you change a comment in an id3 tag, then the database should have that latest change and not create a new record.
