During automix, why does the end point take a second to trigger?

I’m using end points to create a dj set where I don’t have to watch the computer. I set start and end points right on the beats, but it always plays beyond the end point before starting the transition. So it gets to the end point plays for an extra second, and THEN transitions.

It kinda ruins the effect of transitioning on the beat.
