Summary of the issue:
Calibration fail 2 minutes after beginning using Djay with serato 7inch record.
How to reproduce the issue:
Everything is going great for 2, 3 minutes, then the calibration fail and Djay could not calibrate de Vinyl signal anymore.
Then the signal sounds saturated and pitched up and down.
Hi @Aaaaargh, please try updating to the latest version of djay and rerunning the DVS calibration process. Have you tried using a different USB cable? Please also make sure your Mac is connected to power using the original Apple charger.
I think I have the last version of Djay (5.2.6)
Things gets better when everything is plug into power source (turntable and computer)
But I still have calibration issues from time to time when there is 2 track loaded.
I have to disable/enable DVS and redo the calibration process.
Is Algoriddim considering release à 7 inch control vinyl ? Maybe it will be more trustable.
Thanks for helping.
Thanks for confirming @Aaaaargh. Did you try a different USB cable, ideally a high quality one with dual ferrites on either end? Is your turntable properly grounded? Have you tried properly cleaning your needle and control vinyl?
Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
