Excellent! You’re welcome @echa0361

Phew. Well done for being persistent and sticking with Djay Pro. I don’t use cdj’s so couldn’t help. Really great you’re sorted.

hi slak sorry to brought this up again, but i just notice something, turns out pioneer mixers (all their mixers) input selector are not physical switches, its digital, its manage by their DJM Utility software, the reason why CDJ for dvs works on macs because the DJM Utility software exists for mac and windows, perhaps in the future djay for mobile figures out the way to switch these input from phono to line digitally, because the default for dvs input for pioneer mixers are phono, you need the DJM Utility to switch it to Line/Digital input, because this would be a huge step towards Mobile devices as a club standard, since most club uses CDJs

even more amazing if you guys can figures out HID for mobile devices, that would blow people’s mind like the first time i saw DVS on a goddamn phone, that was amazing

Why dont the CDJs work in HID mode? According to the hardware list the Denon SC-6000s work with iOS and my LC-6000 definitely works with it, dont CDJs essentially do the same thing (midi commands to the software)?

i dont know why, tried it and it didnt work

Does it not even work as a dumb midi device without screen support? Ive not used CDJs for a long time so forgotten what the mode is called.

I actually dont know, i dont own a cdj to try at home, in theory should appear as midi right?

Yeah I guess so. Although when you filter the hardware list to iOS, all the CDJs disappear so could just be that they aren’t set up to work.

I’ve passed this onto our dev team
