how to config the earphone cue. do I have to purchase the imic usb to cue up a song
Hi Mark,
Select “Preferences” from the “djay” menu and go to “Devices”. Here you can configure your iMic as Pre-cueing output.
Go into settings, and under pre-cueing, turn split output on. You will need a Y splitter adapter for your headphone output jack. That is a plug that has a 1/8" male stereo jack that plugs into the iPad and the other end has two plugs. These are usually 1/8" female plugs, but they can be other types, based on your need. Noe that in this mode, the stereo output is mixed down to mono, with the left side being the main output (connect to your stereo/amp) and the right side being the monitor/pre-cue output (connect your headphones).
