Echo Out Drums and Melody

Your question:
I can see in the instant FX there is a nice option to echo out the vocals. How do I either map or find the ability to echo out (or any FX) BOTH drums and melody keeping only the vocals? Right now I can only do one or the other and can’t fully isolate the vocals. Those with Serato STEMS FX will know what I mean. Thx

Hi @rhythmandbeats,

  1. If you switch from Instant FX to Manual FX, you can switch from having the FX applied to the full Deck and apply 1 FX slot to Harmonic and 1 FX slot to Drums.
  2. Then you can select the Echo Out FX for both slots.

  3. You could then MIDI map both the FX 2 Enabled and FX 3 Enabled commands to the same button on your controller so you can activate them at the same time.

Thanks. Managed to get around to trying this. For the life of me I can’t work out how to map both fx to the same button on my rev7

Hi @rhythmandbeats, hold down and slide to the left on the MIDI control that you want to Duplicate.

Thanks. I think I mentioned from the top that this is for macOS. Is it a similar process?

Should be similar yes. I don’t have access to a Mac, but probably something like a right click I’m guessing.
