EDIT: My mac had thermal throttling issues. djay v5.6.1 seems to be even better now. (Disregard: Stripped down, Intel-based-Mac specific version of djay)

Can’t Wait for an Update that Would Finally Bring a Stable Version of Djay on intel Macs!
As of now the bells and whistles introduced in djay have not danced well with most intel macs, including the latest (last) intels of 2019 - which I believe were 9th gen intel chips.

Given the status-quo, a slightly toned-down version of the app that would work reliably, predictably and confidently with our intels would such a welcome idea.
I for one wouldn’t mind having the previous versions that ran smoothly on these intels, even if I miss out on some of these newer resource-heavy bells and whistles. Heck, djay pro AI (3.xx) was such a charm on intels!

Really, something in the new updates broke intel’s back - and yet intel is still and always will be our bulldog untill we afford silicon macs.
Are we dinosaurs already??

Thanks for the suggestion @Armigo. I’ll pass it onto the devs for consideration…

I needed to edit post to reflect latest status-quo!
Of all the rants I had back in November as in post #1, nearly all went away when I performed a CPU/GPU temperature reduction invasive procedure - As i mentioned in a different post, I did an internal dust/debris cleanup of my macbook pro, and applied new thermal paste on CPU/GPU heat sink.

Having done that, all my stability/performance issues went away, except, the known neural mix lag issue on intels - I sure hope that’s still a work in progress
