Hi. Is there an option to make the effect on/off less abrupt? Current functionality appears to be as soon as you turn an effect off it instantly disappears. This isn’t great when you are using effects with a tail (eg. Delay, reverb, etc) where you want it to fade gradually to nothing, at the end of a breakdown for instance. If I want the effect off immediately I can turn the dry/wet fully dry.
I thought enabling post fader in settings would do this, but apparently not. Is there another option I’m missing?
Thanks for sharing the additional info. Enabling post-fader FX means that effects like “Echo” or “Reverb” will still play their tail after you mute a deck for example (conversely, if post-fader is off in settings then the effect will be muted simultaneously with the deck).
To smoothly fade in an effect, the best option is to move the wet / dry knob all the way to the left (“dry” so no effect is heard), enable the FX via the ON button, then gradually move the wet / dry knob to fade in the effect.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any further suggestions.
Thanks for clarifying. I assume your preferred solution would be to fade the effect out automatically (I’ll pass that on to the team). As a workaround, when turning the effect off you could do the steps above in reverse order, i.e. gradually move the wet/dry knob from wet to dry, then tap the off button for the effect.
