  • Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1): 16.7.11
  • Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2): 5.3.2
  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro): none yet

Summary of the issue:
I think since the last update? I have not been able to load apple music media onto the decks of the ipad version of djay. Previously this has not been a problem. I noticed there was a similar problem with a previous update which I think had error 400, where the library / streaming became unavailable for some time.

On the same ipad I can stream musci from apple music.
On my mac I can stream from apple music, and load and play files using Djay

How to reproduce the issue:

Hi @WarmFire welcome to the Community! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.

  1. Please log out of Apple Music streaming from within djay and any other standalone apps or browsers.
  2. Close djay.
  3. Perform a Forced Restart of your iPad: Force restart iPad - Apple Support (IE)
  4. After restarting, disable your VPN if you are using one.
  5. Launch djay and only log into Apple Music streaming from within this app.
  6. Retest, and let me know if you still get the same error.
