Error Message: could not load track

Hello:
I was just playing the track on one deck but when I tried to manipulate Neural Mix Vocals it stopped and I noticed wave display empty.
So, I tried to reload the song but I get this message
I tried to relaunch djay app and there it was ok.
My point is, what if I were on stage performance and this happens.
Does anyone have any idea to prevent this from happening?

  • Did you only get this error message once?
  • Did it show while trying to load a song to the right deck?
  • What music library are you using? The featured library section?
  • What iOS version is your iPad running?
  • What djay version are you currently running?

Let me answer theses questions.

  • Do you believe that having used Neural Mix before had an effect on this?
    Answer: I have been using Neural Mix every time but this is the only time I’ve encountered this issue.

  • Did you only get this error message once?
    Answer: Yes, after the Neural Mix failed, I have to reload the song since the song disappeared from the deck. The sound wave disappeared from the display so apparently the song is NOT on the deck anymore. That’s when the error message appeared.

  • Did it show while trying to load a song to the right deck?
    Answer: Yes.

  • What music library are you using? The featured library section?
    Answer: I’ve uploaded all my Music files to my Files App on my iPad.

  • What iOS version is your iPad running?
    Answer: This happened a day before the iPadOS 15 update.

  • What djay version are you currently running?
    Answer: That was 3.7.10 for sure because now my djay is 3.8 Sept. 20, 2021

So far, I’m not having trouble anymore.

Hey Team,
This has happened to me in the past.
In my case I sync my iOS devices to my Mac using iTunes (finder window).
When this happens I redownload the song within the Music App on the iOS device itself.
This solves my issue, hopefully this is helpful.

This issue happened with a song I created.
I created the song with Garage Band. Screen Shot the song and save it to my Files app and played it with Djay. When I first loaded it, it prompted me if I should load track in “video mode” but I clicked “not now” so it loaded as a song. I didn’t get any problem at all.
But when I tried NEURAL MIX, it stopped and the song disappeared from the deck.
I tried to do it again but I didn’t get the same issue.
Could it be a “glitch”?
If it is, what could have caused it.?

Thanks for staying in touch and for the additional information. Would you please be so kind and send us this file to support@algoriddim.com so we can test this behavior ourselves?
Also, could you please try re-encoding your songs through e.g. iTunes (File > Convert > Create AAC Version). Let me know if that fixes this.
