Hi @Brown_bkp, when creating new topics, please do not forget to answer the questions in our template with specific details about your setup not just “iPad” or “Latest Version”. This helps all of our community moderators to provide the most effective support to users with the utmost efficiency. Thanks!

Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
Version of operating system (ex. iOS 17.3.1):
Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3):
Hardware/controllers used (ex. Reloop Ready):
Hardware Firmware Version (ex. 2.7):

Please also share a screenshot of the error message - it’s difficult to read in your video. Thanks!

Pls kindly re-check my text it was a mistake the other time but I have edited it now to what I was actually trying to say

Thanks @Brown_bkp. Which version of djay are you using?

I use djay pro 5.5 the latest version

The latest version is 5.5.1. Please try updating via the official Microsoft Store, reboot your laptop, and try again.

Its already in 5.5.1 version still the same issue

Thanks for verifying @Brown_bkp.

  1. Do you have an active djay Pro subscription?
  2. Is your payment method up to date and valid?
  3. Did you also create a My djay Account and are you logged in using the same email as your subscription?
  4. Can you please confirm that you have a good internet connection? Please try restarting your router.

Yes i have an active subscription on my account but i cant access my account because that message pops up at opening on my windows laptop so no chance to link my subscription up with djay on d same windows lapptop

Thanks for confirming @Brown_bkp.

  1. Can you please confirm that you have a good internet connection? Please try restarting your router.
  2. Are you using a VPN/Proxy? If so, please try disabling it.
  3. Please check your Windows Firewall settings
    a. Search for Windows Defender Firewall in the Start menu.
    b. Click Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall.
    c. Find djay in the list (or browse to its .exe, usually in C:\Program Files\Algoriddim\djay). Check both Private and Public boxes.
    d. If not listed, click Allow another app and add it.
  4. If you are using an Anti-Virus software, please temporarily disable it or add an exception for djay.exe and api.revenuecat.com. Re-enable after testing.

I tried each of these but the problem is still persists

Okay, thanks @Brown_bkp.

  1. I suggest that you backup your djay Media Library database and any custom MIDI mappings. You can find these files in the following location: https://help.algoriddim.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014912131-Where-does-djay-Pro-store-cue-points-and-other-metadata
  2. Then uninstall djay, reboot your device, log into your Windows account with Administrator Privileges, download the latest version of djay from the Official Microsoft Store, disable your VPN/Proxy, disable your Anti-Virus, and reinstall the latest version of djay.
  3. After reinstallation, you can simply copy the backup files above, back to their original locations to maintain your Hot Cues, Saved Loops, My Collection Playlists, History and Queue.

If the fresh installation per the steps above doesn’t work, can you please try connecting to a cellular hotspot instead of your normal WiFi network?
