Filter Customization & Screen Space Optimization

Loving the filters super helpful.

But the selected options take up way too much screen space. Is there any way to freely organize and rename them so they’re more compact and take up less real estate? Would make things way smoother visually.

Hi @Owe_Marley, thanks for the feedback. Currently, there is no way to rename or organize these filters. I have passed you suggestion onto the dev team for consideration though. In the meantime, please use the blue Vote button at the top left of this page so we can gauge user demand for this. Thanks!

EDIT: the dev team originally thought users would only apply a handful of these filters. Would it help if the list was scrollable instead of extending or would you still like to see them all at once? Thanks!

Hi, because I use such filters, I believe that if we had the ability to short the bpm and key columns together, then we wouldn’t need all these key filters, twelve in numbers!

Could you please try to markup a screenshot to better illustrate what you’re looking for here? Thanks @Papagp

Thanks for the quick reply and for passing it on to the dev team!

Just cast my vote

appreciate you opening it up for discussion. Making the list scrollable would definitely help, but ideally I’d still love the ability to rename, rearrange, and shrink the filters to reduce how much space they take up.

It’d really help keep things clean and efficient without losing visibility or flow. Right now, it can get a bit overwhelming when the filters take over most of the screen. Like another user mentioned, it would also be great to sort by multiple columns

BPM, Key, Year, Genre, etc. In Serato, you can hold Command to add a secondary sort column, which is super handy. If we could go even further with third or fourth-tier sorting, that’d be a game-changer.

Appreciate the continued support!

You’re welcome @Owe_Marley. Thanks for the additional info - this is very helpful!

I fell that so much. this is a desperate workaround to get a recordbox-like filtering. I was asking for similar things I believe

@Papagp Correct, please search for and vote for this elsewhere in the forum.

Hi @Owe_Marley, we noticed there are lots of key combo filters. Would you need this if filters were relative based on the active track, e.g. ±2 notes based on the key of the active track?

I’d want both TBH. Relative filters are perfect in the moment and i would use that more out while spinning, but key combo filters are also essential when I’m prepping sets Having both options gives me flexibility live and full control when planning sets.

Even the suggested songs section would be way more useful if we could tick and untick things like relative keys, certain playlists, or other filters that kind of control would be a game-changer and i could keep that filters screen closed and just work off the suggest songs feature

Thanks for the additional info @Owe_Marley

Without a doubt screen resizing is needed and an option to have Screen Space optimzed and resizing. For example, full length on vertical waveforms from top to bottom of the screen. Also, option to collapse, rizing or closed screen sections not used.
