YOUR QUESTION:

Could someone help me set these two Filter knobs to work like they do with Serato?:folded_hands:t2:

Currently, this is how they work with the basic mapping without any modifications on both Mac and iPad. It almost seems like it’s not making contact, and often, for the left knob, I’m forced to first do a bit of LPF to activate it and then go to HPF (see attached videos). :face_with_spiral_eyes:

I’d simply like them to work like they do with Serato, so the button activates and deactivates the Filter and the knobs adjust the LPF/HPF filter.

Thanks!

PS: I tested the console with Serato DJ Lite, and the knobs work perfectly, so a malfunction can be ruled out.

This is how it works with Serato and what I would like to have with DjayPro too if possible.

After a bit of study I understood that the djaypro filter is always active unlike Serato where it can be activated and deactivated like an FX, the problem was the Filter Reset which was annoying, so I changed the function of the “ON” button and now the filter knob works perfectly, specifically I set the Toggle Neural Mix - EQ function to change the function of the EQ, now it is even more practical!

I’m keeping the post, maybe it can be useful to someone.

Hi @Scoop, sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, unlike Serato, djay does not have MIDI commands for Filter On/Off. It’s essentially always on and only controlled via the knob. Glad you were able to sort it out.
