YOUR QUESTION:

  1. I want the tempo to be adjustable using two encoders—one that changes the tempo in 1 BPM increments and the other in 0.1 BPM increments—or to use a single encoder whose mode can be switched using the Shift key. Will this ever be possible?

Hi @dspetkov, this isn’t currently possible in djay. However, there is a trick you can try within the MIDI mapping of djay that will allow you to achieve something similar. If you R-Click on the MIDI command for your Tempo encoder, there’s a function called Duplicate. If you map this duplicate MIDI command to Tempo it will effective make your Tempo Fader move twice as far as normal for the same movement range.

That’s not even close to what I asked, but thanks for trying to help me!

You’re welcome @dspetkov. I can change this topic from a Question to a Suggestion if you like and pass this onto our dev team for consideration.
