This is not a spotify outage. Spotify is working fine in literally every other application. Just not in DJay and it hasn’t worked in DJay for 3 days now. This is harming small businesses.
It’s not working in Serato either, or Rekordbox fyi. It’s a Spotify issue.

Hi @Shane_Bryson, this issue is not isolated to djay. There are confirmed reports that it affects other DJ software integrations as well. We are working closely with Spotify to address this a quickly as possible and apologize for the delay. I fully understand your frustration. I just loaded it in serato with zero issues. I don’t have Rekordbox so I cannot speak for that but it has worked find in Serato this entire time.

Thanks for confirming your location @flipteezy. There are several reports that this issue is not isolated to djay. Other DJ software integrations are experiencing this same issue.

this shows me how important it is to have your library downloaded and not rely on any streaming service, especially these major corporations cuz one change of copyright usage or anything could stop 3rd party apps from using its lisencing, plus with ai doing more code and taking over more areas things like this i feel are sadly gonna be a reaccuring thing, i hope there is updates soon other than its being worked on

Only thing I can say for a quick fix for this is join apple music for a month and use a program like songshift to transfer your spotify playlists to apple music playlists until this get straightened out.
Take it with a grain of salt. If you don’t like apple music or hate it, it’s a quick fix and that’s it. It’s better to do this then to not have nothing at all. It will grab most of your music and playlists from spotify.

Hey all. Since this problem is persisting a ridiculously long time, and the weekend is upon us and we have to work you CAN transfer your spotify playlists to iTunes. I have both accounts and it only takes a few minutes, super easy to do. I did it on my iPad and of course it immediately transferred to my Mac as well. On your iPad, go to settings>apps>Music>transfer playlists from other services. Its that easy. You’ll need to email verify when you log into spotify. This is great for your Music Bingo lists which are very specific but if you’re doing weddings or some even were you need the specific list this will save you a LOT of time!

Thanks to whoever it was that recommended Songshift to transfer my Spotify playlists to Apple Music - it matched all my playlists really well with only a few of the rarest tracks failing to match. Not only that though, it preserved my hot cues and saved loops too. Thanks again whoever suggested that!

It’s absolutely coming back, this was a huge marketing point recently for both Spotify and DJay, just a very painful issue that isn’t being resolved quick enough. As for Apple Music, it might be the most garbage service ever provided by Apple (and that from an Apple Fanboy).
I appreciate the suggestion but I have no interest in Apple music. I also imagine a lot of the rarer tracks won be on there. I hope this issue gets sorted out soon, I was looking forward to mixing up some tracks on a Friday night.

Speaking with Spotify’s live chat, the agents there are clueless and anytime you ask about a DJ software, they think you are asking about their DJ AI feature. And they can’t tell the difference between DJay Pro from Algoriddim and DJ Pro Serato. They literally just sent me a link to supported hardware for Serato and told me to look for help there lol
Do we have any updates on this? I feel like we are left in the dark! And I PLEASE stop telling me I can use the free music. It’s like bringing your car to the mechanic, and they smash it into a wall, then offer you a bicycle as the rental. I have gig tomorrow for WWF and have relied on this setup for over a year! Keeping us in the dark is the worst part.
