FIXED: Spotify songs won't load (May 2026)

Hi @SylerH, thanks for checking in. It is not our intention to make anyone feel like they are being left “in the dark”. As I’ve said earlier, I will share official news when I have it. The issue is being worked on with the highest priority level. I have nothing new to share beyond that. I have not been given any time lines on the repair. If you have an important gig tomorrow, I recommend that you prepare a plan B just in case.

RIP Spotify.

I will say I would never ever rely on any streaming service for my business, I always have every song I will need downloaded for every event I ever do.. but having Spotify was great for one-off requests.

Spotify is still down as of 5/15 @ 540 pm central time on both platforms I use, dejay and rekordbox. I will be using by other music platforms today. No worries, always have to have a plan B. Hopefully this gets resolved.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for the input @SkyDJ. Thanks for the input as well @Andy_Cendejas. Totally agree on the plan B. IMO all paid gigs require a plan B. In my years of experience, the promoter and venue don’t care if your excuse for no music is a dead laptop, corrupt USB drive, a down streaming service, no WiFi, a faulty USB cable or defective DJ controller. You can’t always plan for all scenarios, but you can have backups for the key failure points.

Thank you I went ahead and got Apple Music free for 30 days and the transfer with them is SUPER easy no extra websites needed.

You’re welcome @SylerH. Good to hear!

For those with Spotify family plans and extra logins - I was able to use a spare account to work and can see songs in playlists on the spare account, just need to share the relevant playlists.

Hi @AdamRuby, welcome to the Community! Thanks for sharing - this sounds like a decent workaround.

I am having the same problem “no songs” what is this. I also just signed up for pro like how annoying just let me know if this is going to get fix asap or not so i can delete this app. :sob:

05/15/26 11:11pm my time still down after trying all trouble shooting

So Spotify is still down which is super lame because I as a matter of fact have experienced this type of outage before when it comes to Djay Pro. Transferred everything over to Apple Music when the first outage happened and it took a few days to switch everything back on so I made sure I had a saftey net to cover myself for when things go south. The only thing I will say is transferring and reanalyzing all your playlists is a pain. Took a whole 2 hours but thankfully everything looks the same. Just a slightly different layout. Hope this helps for a temporary solution. 6 A.M. over here in Houston, TX and I think we’re on day 4? Idek but this is crazy that it’s been down this long. Wishing everyone luck with their upcoming gigs this weekend.

Good morning everyone, i had just checked spotify is still down on djay,(8:20AM East coast USA) easiest work around for rn is to just download soundcloud, get the free month trial or just pay the 13/15$ whatever it is for a month and hopefully its resolved soon,i downloaded soundcloud and it prompted me to turn over all my playlist so was a super easy transfer, this should highlight how we should not be relying on streaming services because we can see how little they care if something goes wrong on their end. good luck to all dj’s

Thanks for sharing. Is this still working? I don’t want to pay for a family plan (or Duo) and find out that’s not working.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for reaching out. We wanted to provide a quick update regarding the current issue affecting Spotify playlists not showing songs in djay for some users.

At the moment, based on the reports we are seeing, this appears to affect a subset of Spotify users in the US and also seems to impact other DJ integrations as well. We are hopeful the issue will be resolved as soon as possible.

Our team is actively investigating this with the highest priority and is in close contact with Spotify. The issue has already been escalated on both sides.

We completely understand the frustration and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to help get this resolved quickly.

If you have any additional details to share or continue experiencing issues, please feel free to post here – our team is here to help and closely monitor the situation.

We’ll share more information here as it comes in. Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Day 4… We better be getting some money back is all I can say.

Welcome to the Community @yu_go @Goonie646 @djmarquee @Salamander_c137. Sorry that this issue has not been resolved yet. We are working with Spotify to get service restored ASAP. In the meantime, can you please confirm which country you are in and what OS you are using? Thanks!

yes soundcloud is working with djay, not the greatest fix especially if you don’t have the free trial but if your in need of a quick fix this is the fastest one i see, i tried tidal and tidal for me atleast didn’t work with djay

Thanks for sharing @chanc3. Tidal is definitely supported in djay. When you say it didn’t work for you, what exactly was the issue?
