Hello, running the latest 5.2.4 that dropped today. Thank you for fixing the issue with sound color FX being used when the button isn’t active. One additional bug that I just noticed, occasionally when switching beat effects, my DDJ-FLX10 will say ECHO 4 but listening to the echo is actually like 1/2. Or Echo is set to 1 and it’s more like 1/16! Is there a way to fix this so the FLX10 display and what Djay is doing is the same? Finally, pioneer is more aggressive with the amount of all the effects. For example Echo at “12 o’clock” would be the max echo, but to get the same echo with Djay, one would need to turn it all the way to the right.
Thanks!
Hi @djchase, you’re welcome. Thanks for the details about this issue. Can you please try to capture a video of the issue, upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the video here? Thanks!
Here you go. To reproduce
Use Echo on 1 beat, switch to another BeatFX and choose a different beat like 1/2 or 1/4 then go back to Echo and echo will be at the amount chosen for the other effect, and not what is displayed.
Thanks for the video @djchase. This is very helpful. I’ve shared this with engineering to see if they can replicate the issue and offer any suggestions. I’ll report back when I have news. Thanks!
Hi again @djchase, I spoke with engineering and this is a known limitation of the hardware. The display on the Beat FX section is beyond our control. You will need to refer to the onscreen display in the djay software. Thanks!

Noticed another bug, sometimes randomly the Release FX button switches and is on when it’s solid and off when flashing. The only way out of this is to restart the controller. Not sure when it happens but maybe if it’s been 5-10 minutes of it being on and not being played is when I noticed it.
Hi @dizzydj123, I left some questions for you in the other topic. I suspect what you’re experiencing here is related so let’s continue the discussion over there. Thanks!
