FLX-4 and macOS License

Hi everyone, I’ve a FLX-4 and on the Website of Pioneer it’s mentioned that It’s working together with DJ Pro.

The App is stating that I need a license isn’t it coming with a hardware unlock?

As far as I know, there is no hardware that completely unlocks djay Pro…

Some things unlock a subset of features, but if you want everything then you have to pay.

Hi @mariusLAN, the FLX4 officially supported by djay Pro, but it does not unlock any of the Pro Subscription features. There is no hardware that unlocks all of the djay Pro Subscription features.

This is the current list of hardware and what Pro features are unlocked:

  1. Hercules DJControl Mix: unlocks pre-cueing and the Sampler
  2. Hercules DJControl Mix Ultra: unlocks pre-cueing, the Sampler and Neural Mix
  3. Pioneer DDJ-200: unlocks pre-cueing
  4. Pioneer DDJ-FLX2: unlocks pre-cueing and the Sampler
  5. Reloop Buddy: unlocks Neural Mix, the Sampler and the Looper
  6. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro: unlocks Neural Mix, the Sampler and DVS
  7. Reloop Mixtour Pro: unlocks Neural Mix, the Sampler, 4 Deck Mode and Pro Mode
  8. Reloop RMX95: unlocks Neural Mix and DVS

So the reloop mixtour pro is the only controller that fully unlocks “pro” mode features? Meaning no subscription fee is needed?

Hi @eyeseeyou01, currently there are no controllers that unlock all features of djay Pro without a subscription. Only the features listed above for each device are unlocked. I hope that helps!

What exactly does pro mode mean? All pro mode features?

@eyeseeyou01 Pro Mode is one of the UI display modes available in djay like Classic, 4 Decks or Looper.
