Hello,
I am using the DDJ-FLX2 with macOS 24.4 and Djay Pro. It works fine so far.
However, I have an issue with the built-in audio device, which I do not want to use since I have a different setup.
Unfortunately, every time I start Djay Pro, the DDJ-FLX2’s audio device is automatically selected again, and I have to reconfigure the audio device each time.
The same thing happens even if I start the program first and then connect the controller.
Is there a way to prevent this automatic switching?
Many thanks in advance.
Hi @mr.deejay, welcome to the Community! Can you please provide complete details for your setup including your second audio interface?
Device Model (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
Version of operating system (ex. iOS 17.3.1):
Version of djay (ex. 5.1.3):
Hardware/controllers used (ex. Reloop Ready):
Hardware Firmware Version:
Since this sounds repeatable, can you please capture and share a short screen recording of the issue to help clarify what’s happening? Thanks!
Hello Slak_Jaw,
Device Model: MacBook Air M4
Operating System: macOS 26.4
Version of djay pro: 5.6.3
Hardware Controller: AlpahaTheta DDJ-FLX2
The 2nd Audio Interface is a Focusrite Scarlett 3rd Gen.
Every time I start Djay Pro, the DDJ-FLX2’s audio device is automatically selected again, and I have to reconfigure the audio to the Scarlet device each time.
The same thing happens even if I start the program first and then connect the DDJ-FLX2 controller.
Many thanks in advance.
