Platform: iPadOS 26 – iPad Pro M5 (2025)
Hardware: Reloop Elite, Pioneer REV7
Version: 5.5.2
Hi Algoriddim team,
on macOS the search opens inside the right library panel via keyboard shortcut or clicking, which works well.
But on iPadOS the search only appears as a small pop-up window when using touch no keyboard shortcut or midi, and this creates multiple limitations for professional use.
Main Requests
- Full-width, integrated search bar in the library (like Serato)
Instead of a pop-up, please add a full search field inside the main library view with the ability to use a connected keyboard shortcut like on mac CMD + F or via midi…
This would allow us to:
• see search results clearly in list form
• sort results by BPM, key, “last added,” etc.
• read track titles more easily
• work more consistently between macOS and iPadOS
Serato’s centered search field would be the perfect reference.
- Ability to enable/disable search sources
It would be extremely useful if we could choose which sources appear in search results:
• Local music
• TIDAL
• SoundCloud
• Others
Ideally with checkboxes or toggles inside the search view.
- Hardware navigation support (Browser Knob / Keyboard)
This is one of the biggest limitations right now:
Inside the pop-up search window on iPadOS:
• Browser Knobs on controllers (Reloop Elite, REV7, etc.) do NOT scroll the search results
• External keyboards cannot navigate results with arrow keys
• We are forced to use full touch navigation, even though hardware controls are already connected
It would be extremely simple and extremely helpful to allow:
• keyboard shortcut CMD + F or midi
• scrolling search results with the controller browser knob
• selecting tracks with controller load buttons
• arrow-key navigation when a keyboard is connected
This would bring the iPad version much closer to desktop-level usability.

A full-width Serato-style search bar + proper hardware navigation support would dramatically improve the workflow on iPad for professional DJs.
Thanks for considering!
