Hi. I have a problem, and I don’t know how to fix it… My Fx Echo Out/Echo Out+ and a few other effects aren’t working—or rather, they’re acting strangely.
I assigned the SMP FX (aux fx) > Crossfader fx Toggle button in the program, and many effects either don’t work or don’t work correctly!
Could this be because I assigned the SMP FX (aux fx) button?

Here is another interesting point…

After playing around with it a bit, I realized it’s better to keep the SMP FX turned off, because they affect the effects even if you don’t map them (are there any ways to use them?)

DJ Angelo uses the Elite. I would think it’s the most packed compatibility

I need to map the Crossfader FX so that I can play the preview of the next track, since previewing isn’t possible in Crossfader FX mode.

I recommend you try mapping a different button on a Shift layer for the CFX On/Off toggle. I suspect there is some underlying programming for that SMP FX button that you might be interfering with.

I was thinking the same thing. Can you tell me how to set that up using Shift?

While in the MIDI Learn Tool with the Elite connected to your iPad, simply hold Shift and press the other button you want to map. Then select Crossfader FX toggle from the MIDI options.

EDIT:
Also, I recommend that you first start by making a new edit of the (built-in) MIDI mapping to ensure that you properly revert any unintended changes from your previous edits.
